What is Canvas?
Canvas is a Learning Management System. This system brings together most of your class activities and makes them accessible through your web browser. Reading, quizzes, exercises, reports, and other activities are collected into groups called modules. Enter Canvas through the link below and select the Canvas "class" for any current course you are taking. In most courses you will find a link on the left side of your course called "modules" that will let you see all assignments for that module.Enter Canvas
What is OneLogin?
Our district uses the OneLogin service to allow students to use a single ID and password for many resources. If your session has expired, you may be redirected to the OneLogin service before entering Canvas. You can always go directly to OneLogin with the link on the right side of this page.
Where do I find this week's assignments?
Most Canvas classes will be broken into modules that Group assignments. Look on the left hand menu in Canvas for a modules item.
What applications can I use for my assignments?
Google Apps for making spread sheets, word processing documents, and slide presenations are available using your campus email. Students also have access to the Adobe Creative cloud.
How can I turn in printed assignments?
Many assignments are completed fully online. Others may require you to make a PDF file of your work and then upload it through Canvas. Essays or other work you create on your computer can be made into PDF files as easily as printing the document.
Hand written or printed documents can be scanned into a PDF with a scanner or even by using a smart phone application. Sometimes you will need to combine or split PDFs. SmallPDF is a web application that can be used to shrink, split, or combine PDF files.
